The beauty of service is profound in the eyes of the beholder. The past five days have been a glorious experience in serving God through serving our youth. Jesus must be very pleased with the outcome of the efforts of every adult and teen participating in this important mission of retreating in Christ. Christ began to touch the hearts of everyone in the room. We all walked in shy and at the end of the week we made new friends within our church family. Jesus said: "Let the children come to me"... And for this entire week the children arrived and learned more about themselves, more about their faith, and more about their church family than they did before the week began. How wonderful it was to connect with the women and children, and teenagers who were assisting and leading our children all week long. We all contributed with the gift of Jesus living within us. We sang, exercised, learned about the lives of the saints, made chapels out of graham cracker cookies, marshmallow fluff, and m and m 's. Each day in arts in crafts we drew religious art on tote bags to carry our personalized place mats, rosaries, and holy water jars. Our Lord had inspired everyone to participate as volunteers in a week to remember. We are so blessed and so very thankful for the great gift of Jesus living inside of us. And when we pay attention to Jesus, he sets our life on the absolute best path for our future. It was meant for us to be with him, and to experience an amazing life, and when we choose Jesus, the true meaning of our existence comes alive in everything we do. Because Christ is in the center of our very lives. And he wants to bless us constantly with his love, with his grace, and with every act of kindness imaginable. Jesus presented himself to us during the last five days at the vacation bible study, he revealed himself in the tears of three children who may not have understood fully the love they were given, but they knew they did not want to see this week come to an end. My husband and I were very touched by Jesus' love in the midst of the tears of those children yearning for the love of Jesus in their daily lives. It was an incredible powerful testimony of God working through all of us, that is how wonderful God is, he allows us to see him in others, as he touches and tenderizes hearts, with his flames of love, that warmth, we all desire and crave to be in 24/7. So, I thank God for the gift of his love living inside each and everyone of us this week. May we all go forward more powerfully in the holy spirit, may we keep growing in Christ and may Christ bring us to that next level of spiritual perfection needed, advancing us in the maturity that will expand our horizons every time we breathe, speak, act, and think, like Jesus. As I close on this most important day with our church, with our vacation bible study group, I cannot help but to think of the great seed of faith that was planted by many. (especially our youngest children at the age of 4, whose emotions were their preciously given testimony whether they realized it or not). I also want to thank pilot pj for guiding and teaching the children beautifully. about respect, zeal, humility, and the importance of having a prayerful life. Our prayers are the core of every Catholic. Our prayers are like precious fruits in a garden, given to us by God himself, our prayers are powerful intentions that reach the heart of God in heaven. And with every prayer we mature, we grow in our faith walk amazingly toward Christ, we may not see the growth of our every step but Jesus does and he loves us so much and wants all of his children to know that they can come to Him. Thank you for setting aside the last five days for this special time with Jesus! He is smiling over all of us!
