Description

What if the very trap the enemy set for you… became the thing that destroys him instead?

In this powerful message, we explore how every single day presents a spiritual decision:
Will we leave the door open for the enemy—or shut it and walk in the authority God has given us?

From an unexpected last-minute opportunity to preach, to the story of Esther being called “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14), we see how God turns what looks like disruption into divine purpose.

Throughout Scripture, there is a consistent pattern:

• The enemy sets a trap
• God intervenes
• The trap backfires

In Psalm 7:14–16 and Psalm 35:8, we’re reminded that the wicked often fall into the very pit they dig. And we see this lived out through two powerful examples:

Haman (Esther 7:9–10)
Driven by pride, Haman plotted to destroy God’s people—but was ultimately destroyed by the very gallows he built. What the enemy meant to stop God’s plan, God flipped completely.

Judas (Matthew 26:14–25)
Though chosen and close to Jesus, Judas allowed sin to remain an open door. Scripture tells us that Satan entered him—but only because access was given. Even then, what looked like Satan’s victory at the cross became his ultimate defeat.

The truth is clear:
Satan doesn’t force doors open—he looks for the ones we leave open.

But here’s the good news:

Just as King Xerxes gave the Jews authority to fight back,
God has given us authority to overcome the enemy.

You are not powerless.
You are not stuck.
You are not a victim of the trap.

You have a choice.

Every day is an opportunity to:
• Close the door on sin
• Walk in obedience
• Use your authority in Christ
• And watch God turn the enemy’s plans against him

Don’t miss your moment.
