Many people assume that it was Christ’s human nature, his natural inclination to not want to suffer that made Him say ‘let this cup pass’, but we look at it from a different perspective showing the real reason why He said this and what it meant for not only Him, but also for us. We look at the importance not only of God’s will but also of His timing, and how this relates to letting the cup pass. Sometimes we too need to be willing to let this cup pass. We need to make the choice today to pray for God’s will to be done in His perfect timing.
