The damage to creation due to human rebellion was too severe for anyone to fix. God was the only one who could restore what had been lost due to humanity's sin. We get glimpses of the Father's mission in the Old Testament and can see God's plan of restoration clearly in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
The Lion of Judah, the Son of David has the power to bring about the fullness of God's redemptive work.
