In 1 Thessalonians 2:8 Paul writes, “Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” What is the gospel and how would those living in the Roman world understand the “good news”?
In this message, Pastor Mark encourages us to have a more robust understanding of the gospel and a greater vision of the church. Both the good news and the church serve as a public witness to the natural world but also serve as a reminder to the supernatural world that Christ has been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
Paul’s deeper understanding of the gospel drives him all over the Roman empire spreading the good news and sharing his life with the family of God.
