In Luke 15, Jesus uses a trilogy of parables to speak about "lost things". In the parable of the "Lost Son", the father does not hold back his love when his son returns home. In the season of Advent, we're reminded that God did not hold back his love as He sent His Son into the world. 'Tis the Season for Love.
