Description

There will always be opposition of some kind in life. It's an unfortunate reality of the fallen world in which we live. The degree of trials may vary, but the one constant is that in this life we will have trouble. We know that Jesus has defeated the world (John 16:33), but that doesn't always make it easy to know how to navigate the current situations we're facing.

King David faced a troubling situation of his own. He was being overthrown by his own son, Absalom, and to add insult injury, a man came hurling lies, criticisms, and curses at David as the king was fleeing Jerusalem. Yet David kept his cool, even though he had friends willing to...take care of the situation. It was David's trust in the Lord that gave him the strength to endure everything he was going through. So, how then can you build the same kind of trust and faith in God's greater plan?
