How would others describe your life? How would they describe the atmosphere of your home or the room when you enter into it?
David declares that goodness and mercy would follow him all the days of his life. He was content with those two things. He knew that God is good, and He is merciful. Regardless of whatever else David encountered in life, he knew that God would surround him with those two things. That knowledge produced the kind of trust within David that proved to be unshakeable.
