You may have heard "church" terms like "reconciliation" and "atonement," but what do they actually mean? Why are they important? They're actually essential to our faith and for a very good and very exciting reason.
When we talk about "being invited to God's table," it's important to understand not only what that means, but what it cost for that invitation and that seat. It cost God everything, His very life, in fact. What it means for us is that should we choose to follow God and submit our life to Christ, we all have a place at His table. We can enjoy friendship and peace with Him. He did the work we could not do so that we could live the life we don't deserve. It's amazing and humbling at the same time.
