In this episode we learn more about the GlobalArctic Today! The dialogue originally to place on November 11th 2020 on Arctic Circle‘s online media platform, Arctic Circle VIRTUAL. In this event the Arctic Circle‘s Mission Council on GlobalArctic discusses geopolitical stability and power politics, fossil economy, science and the urgency of climate change mitigation. The event was moderated by Lassi Heininen, professor emeritus and chairman of the Arctic Circle Mission Council on the GlobalArctic.
Arctic Circle is the largest network of international dialogue and cooperation on the future of the Arctic. It is an open democratic platform with participation from governments, organizations, corporations, universities, think tanks, environmental associations, Indigenous communities, concerned citizens, and others interested in the development of the Arctic and its consequences for the future of the globe. It is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization.
