Description

In this episode we learn more about MOSAiC – the Largest Arctic Expedition in History. The dialogue originally to place in October 2020 on Arctic Circle‘s online media platform, Arctic Circle VIRTUAL. It features two of the project leaders, Marcus Rex who‘s title is Expedition Leader and Dr. Antje Boetius who is the Director of the Alfred Wegener Institute which spearheaded MOSAiC. Dr. Jan Gunnar Winter, Director of the Center for the Ocean and the Arctic moderated the event.

Arctic Circle is the largest network of international dialogue and cooperation on the future of the Arctic. It is an open democratic platform with participation from governments, organizations, corporations, universities, think tanks, environmental associations, Indigenous communities, concerned citizens, and others interested in the development of the Arctic and its consequences for the future of the globe. It is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization.
