This week  I’ll be speaking about the second of the four spiritual practices that are proposed by the Oxford Group. This second practice is:

2. Surrender our life past, present and future, into God's keeping and direction.
Well, my friends, as soon as I saw that word surrender, I knew that this was going to be one of my favorites of any of the Oxford Groups writings. This particular practice, that of surrender to God, is a corners of my faith And spiritual practices. This practice is almost an exact duplicate of step number three in the 12-step program. In fact, my current book I am working on is titled, “Yes: I surrender”. I believe I have been consistent in chaffing the third step as the most important action I could complete as a human being.

This second spiritual principle, as well as the third step in the 12-steps, means to me that I must try as best I can to perform all of my human functions as they may be approved and fortified through my Spirit. I suppose that this is my duality, which is frowned upon these days by a majority of philosophers, theologians, and scientists. It is my opinion that those who do not believe in the duality of physical and spiritual are plain, out-and-out, wrong.

I am certainly excited to begin this podcast!
