Sean Dustin, host of No Where To Go But Up, joined me for a powerful interview. Awarded the #1 mental health podcast by SceneSnobs Network, Sean has a past marked by abuse, addiction, dealing drugs, failed relationships, and losing parental rights. His podcast became a space to share his pain, shame, and transformation.
I asked, “What’s the first time you broke the law and didn’t get caught?”
At 16 or 17, high and restless, Sean and a friend tried to break into a car in his own neighborhood. As they struggled, the window suddenly shattered—echoing loudly in the quiet night. Panicked, they ran and hid in the bushes. Moments later, a car sped by, followed by the police. Were they caught? They waited in fear, hearts racing.
