In the dental setting we encounter hazards such as flying debris, chemicals, blood, other potentially infectious material, and potentially harmful light emissions from curing lights and lasers. As a result, eye injuries occur that could have been prevented with the proper selection and use of eye and face protection. This podcast covers OSHA, CDC, and ANSI standards for eye/face protection and serves as a great reminder to protect the eyes of dental workers and patients.
