Description

In the first part of Creativity, Faye described writing as her medicine  - something that stayed with her while so much else in her life was changing.

This time we explore another part of that journey: finding her own voice.

There’s the voice of B. Baskerville, the author putting her stories out into the world. And there’s Faye  - on the boat with Rob, meeting new people, returning to old friends and family, and perhaps becoming a little less concerned with who she used to be or who others expect her to be.

Are those two voices becoming more like each other? or are they just beautifully distinct parts of who she always was?

And underneath it all, we return to the question that has run through Faye’s whole journey: identity.

With some of the old identities loosened, what sounds like me now?

And right at the end, Faye leaves us somewhere new: perhaps she is no longer a supporting character in someone else’s adventure.

Perhaps she has become a main character in her own story.
