AI is moving fast and the most powerful voices in the space are starting to sound the alarm. That doesn’t mean we run from artificial intelligence. It means leaders have to level up, quickly, and lead with clarity instead of vibes.

We’re coming off an intense week of conversations with influential people shaping business and industry, and one theme keeps rising to the top: responsible AI is a leadership problem before it’s a technical one. We dig into why AI risk, safety, and transparency are suddenly front-page news, and what that signals for anyone with operational responsibility, governance influence, or a team counting on them for direction.

Then we get practical with three questions we believe every leader should be asking right now: Are we building AI capability faster than we’re building AI governance? As AI systems get better at producing “machine answers,” are we protecting the human judgment required to question those answers? And as we chase productivity, are we investing just as intentionally in the people whose work AI is changing?

We close with a challenge on AI literacy and values-based leadership: how do you evolve your language around AI, bring people along, and keep your core beliefs embedded in the future you’re building? If this helped you think more clearly, subscribe, share the episode with a leader on your team, and leave a review with the question you’re wrestling with most.
