Welcome to it; let's tattoo it, Graventowners. Thanks (as always) for being here. I've been wanting to interview my next G-town guest for eons, so it was lovely to finally sit and shoot the shiz with LA comedian/screenwriter and actor extraordinaire Emmy Browning. She put out her insanely unique and hilarious comedy special called "Temporary, Beautiful" in 2025 (which lives in a world of rapid fire improv and balloon making/twisting) and she is now performing multiple runs of a popular play she concocted herself called "HANDS!". If you're wondering what HANDS! is all about, think "The Bear" - but Emmy Browning is Jeremy Allen White and she’s actually cooking for you on stage (and speaking of Jeremy Allen White - that blue eyed devil - Emmy actually has a personal encounter story about him in the podcast, so be sure to listen until the end). Upon arrival, HANDS! guests will be given the opportunity to participate in the story or to simply sit back and enjoy. HANDS! is a live cooking ensemble play (with Emmy as the lead character Chef Jay) and it's performed like a TV show, so a camera operator follows actors on and off stage so the audience can see the "back of house" experience. Follow Emmy on her socials as she is a true standout, high-level/hardworking unique comedy talent. Catch me in Owen Sound this weekend on Friday Oct 23 and Saturday 24 at Parkwood by Heartwood for a live podcast experience with 4 sets by my supertalented music making friends Craig Smith (The Ontarians), Todd & Robyn, Krista Currie and Shjaane Glover.

My new album "Geographics" is out now on all platforms. You can buy the digital, cd and vinyl versions of the album on my bandcamp page, (which helps me greatly) but I understand that cash is tight all over the map, so you can also order a five dollar Geographics sticker. 5 beans! This album is really special to me (as my friends Melissa Payne and Charles Austin played all over it) and I hope you'll come along for the supersonic ride. Follow me @gravencanada on all the socials, and check my website to see when I'm playing live in a town near you. Join Graventown today to support yours truly for only 8 clams a month.
