Chris Lytle and his #LytesOut crew are on hallowed MMA ground for this one as UFC founder Art Davie visited for one of our patented #DEEPDIVE interviews.
One of the founders and creators of the Ultimate Fighting Championships, Art takes us through the hectic months prior to UFC 1 on November 12, 1993. A lot of thought went into the modern "Kumite." Davie studied other attempts at mixed fighting - stating "Muhammad Ali vs Antonio Inoki was promoted by Vince McMahon Sr and was a box office flop."
Prepare and listen for full immersion into the very first days of the modern combat era.
**Sorry about the sound glitch at times, but Art really gave us time and was forthcoming - we had to put it up!
