David denHartog begins a new mini-series leading up to Christmas on the subject of Advent, which means "coming" or "arrival." The first of the four Advent candles represents Hope. We will explore the various words for 'hope' in the Bible, with a particular focus on its meaning in the New Testament. We will also see three important principles about what it means to live in hope.
