Hi everyone

I hope you are doing okay, as we enter the 12th week of lockdown.

This week, I’ve been asked to say something about challenging racism at work, in light of what is happening in the world following the death of George Floyd, which is being described as a hate crime and an act of murder. We have been contacted by a number of Black workers who claim they are suffering racism and racial harassment at work.

For Black workers facing racial hostility and aggression at work, simply because they are Black workers, it is important to know that this type of conduct towards you is illegal, both in terms of criminal law in the UK and in terms of employment law in the UK.  And in this week’s podcast, I talk about what you can do to challenge this treatment.

We hope you enjoy the episode and would really encourage you to keep sending us your questions and comments; and, to leave us a review, where ever you're listening to this podcast.

Bye for now
