One of God’s greatest priorities for lives is leading us into spiritual growth moments. These are often unavoidable & unexplainable life experiences; which on the surface can seem mainly about us living in discouragement or disappointment. BUT… the truth is, it’s a strategic time for our spiritual development! 

Focus Scripture: Exodus 13:17-18;14:10-15

Three truths about growth:

• Physical growth comes by time
• Educational growth comes by learning
• Spiritual growth comes through obedience

When life gets tough, I can choose:

• Flight - run away or avoid encountering what is before me
• Fight - assume a responsibility as if victory is based on my ability & resources
• Freeze - get stuck like where I am by acting as if nothing is happening
• Faith - act in accordance with God's instructions and directions no matter what they are

The Big So What:

When going through, there's always something to do; but what's most important is doing the one thing God is asking me to do. TRUST & OBEY

This Week's Challenge:

• Read Exodus 14th chapter 2x
• Memorize Exodus 14:14
• Journal - ask God for two things He's asking you to do - now!
• Action - set an alarm for 3x a day thankful/grateful praise break
