During a school season, we may encounter a subject we don’t fully or easily understood; not in a way we’re confident about making progress & promotion to the next level. SO… we may engage a tutor into our learning process. Someone who knows the subject better than us & what a teacher is trying to have us learn. They move us into clarity, consistency & confidence in growing.

How to be tutored by the Holy Spirit

1. Trust His presence in my life
   • 2 attitudes that keeps us from trusting God:
     • Presumption
     • Presence
2. Take advantage of His presence in my life
3. Turn my spiritual growth over to Him
   • 3 ways to turn over my spiritual growth to the Holy Spirit
     • Reading God's Word, not remembering God's Word
     • Focus on being a witness for God, not my wants in God
     • Surrendering to His presence, not my performance

THE BIG DISCOVERY

The Holy Spirit is the best tutor for growing in God because He is the best tutor from God.
