America was founded on the idea of merit. Men and women earned their accolades based upon their character and achievements. Sadly today we have become a society of double standards. We have become a society that requires different groups of people to compete under differing standards, but pretend everyone is competing under the same standards. Here again we see the damage done by separating our republic from the principles of Christ.
