I have had thousands of conversations with many men over time, however I can only think of a few of these who have had such an impact on my life as this man has.
The conversation that you are going to hear in this episode originally aired on October 28th, and it took my beliefs that I had from movies on the big screen into a place of reality. We all know the ones I am referencing like Taken or even the more recent movie the Sound of Freedom.
While there are some cases that are extreme like in these examples, most of the silver screen trafficking narrative is a bunch of lies!
Funny story though, even though it's BS, the movie Sound of Freedom opened my eyes to something different, something that I knew I needed to explore.
At the same time, I had been seeing this guy pop up on my LinkedIn feed, someone that I saw doing awesome stuff and really cared about protecting the MVP’s - the most vulnerable people.
That is when I reached out to Kevin Metcalf and this man opened my eyes to the real world of Human Trafficking and Exploitation then further the real work that real human beings are doing to combat these atrocities.
This one interview is what led to a tremendous 12-part series on the topic, that would have never come into existence without this man intervening in my life. It also has led to a great friendship with Kevin as well as other real American heroes!
