I'm a big believer in seeing new places through the eyes of a volunteer. Unfortunately there can be drawbacks and not all projects are 'as advertised' when you arrive.
In this podcast I share my experience of such a project when I visited Mozambique, and talk about a few positives too. Of course, there are always stories regardless of where you go and how closely the experience matches your expectations!
