Some people today believe that if you come to Christ and follow him, you will be comfortably well off. This kind of theology is a form of Christian idolatry thinking that God is there tosupply him or her with a happiness of his own imagining. The truth is, God's love is a holy love. God is holy, so he seeks holiness in those he loves. He never condones actions that are not consistent with his righteousness.
