While wishing and waiting for a future of embracing hybrid game conferences, David Radd played a truckload of games on Game Pass, including 12 Minutes and its bizzare final-act twist, River City Girls and its terrible dialog, It Takes Two and its gameplay variety, Ori and the Unearned Emotional Moments, and Mighty Goose with his pig companion: Commander Vark. Tuesday, meanwhile, fits the theming of the episode by playing Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars while continuing to tell their mother that they don't have time because they're trying to kill Mother in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance. In the truckload of news, it's fittingly lead off with Activision and reports over what Bobby Kotick knew and when he knew it, along with some less-than-stellar Call of Duty: Vanguard sales indications. Meanwhile, plenty of Xbox news came out of the event marking 20 years since the brand's launch, with some indications that Starfield won't be shown off until Summer 2022 and that Fallout 5 is a ways off. Finally, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has a rough launch and the Game Awards announce the nominees for 2021. In the SNGP topic, David and Tuesday discuss Grand Theft Auto III and its 20 year legacy.
