Deuteronomy is not merely a second law. It is Moses' covenant appeal to a new generation standing at the threshold of the promised land: remember what the LORD has done, love Him with the whole life, teach His words, practice justice, choose life, and enter faithfully.
Roger Ferguson surveys the book's names, the restatement of covenant instruction, the Shema, the plains of Moab, Moses' final words, blessing and warning, covenant ratification, practical legal categories, and the way Deuteronomy shapes the biblical story that follows. Along the way, the episode distinguishes Scripture from MMAB's traditional chronology and theological positions and shows why Jesus repeatedly draws from Deuteronomy.
This restored teaching preserves Roger's original human voice at a natural 1.20x pace, with dedicated echo reduction, improved audio mastering, complete captions, and seven new Deuteronomy-specific illustrations. Sixteen narrow legacy passages were removed without replacement narration, including pronunciation-unsafe wording and objective overstatements. No voice was cloned, synthesized, imitated, replaced, or sent to an external voice processor.
Primary new on-screen Scripture witness: Berean Standard Bible, third printing. Roger's legacy audible reading is preserved and captioned as spoken. The episode artwork is illustrative and is not presented as an archaeological reconstruction.
