The Old Testament reveals one clear story: God loves you, and He’ll do anything to save you. What we see from Genesis to Revelation is a God who steps into the fire on our behalf, to rescue us. And that’s the headline of this story today. The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is one of the most inspiring and relevant accounts in all of the Bible, and it points directly to Jesus.
These stories don’t provide heroes that we try to be but point to a Savior who we desperately need.
