If you decided that your out of shape physically and needed to loose a few pounds what would you do? First you would likely change your diet and start eating healthy food and smaller portions, the sweets would definitely be gone. Next you might get a membership to a local gym and get together with someone that leads a fitness class. Likely you would go to the gym at least 3 times a week maybe more. I am certain that a portion of everyday would be dedicated to improving your physical fitness. So my question to you is if physically fitness can only be achieved by devoting a portion of everyday to achieve your goal, why do we think we can be spiritually fit by attending church for a couple hours once a week? The journey to spiritual fitness is a marathon, not a sprint.
