In the opening chapters of Genesis, Pastor Jon reads that God created human beings in the image of God and gave them the holy work of cultivating the earth and serving all of creation with care and compassion. From the beginning of time, this work has been given to human beings not as a burden, but as an essential part of God’s plan to serve as God’s coworkers in bringing flourishing to all of creation.
