As believers in Jesus Christ for salvation, we are recipients of a totally new identity. We are new creatures in Christ or saints according to Ephesians. This is an awesome reality that every believer should rejoice over. But how do we live out this new identity? This saint still feels the pull of life before Christ. Our text today instructs us on how to live out the reality of our identity in Christ. Saints, let us put off the life we once lived before Christ, renew our minds with the thoughts of Christ, and put on the attitude and actions of Christ through His power in us.
