In 1983, Sidney Merrick was found stabbed to death after her car broke down on the side of Interstate 80 in Utah. Thanks to numerous witnesses coming forward with detailed information, just nine days after the horrific crime an arrest warrant was issued. In 2007, advances in DNA testing conclusively linked the killer to the shocking murder of a child that had been unsolved since 1982.
