The night before Jesus’ crucifixion, the Lord Jesus says that he's about to leave and send them the Holy Spirit. In this sermon to commemorate Pentecost, we learn that the Spirit brings the truth of heaven down to earth in a unique and powerful way. As the "Spirit of truth," he speaks and declares the truth of God. And since that is the case, the whole world—believers and unbelievers alike—must listen.
