DANIEL IS GOD AND HIS PEOPLE ON WORLD STAGE
Daniel 1: Neb’s University – Daniel knows God is universal and always with him. So Daniel fights to remain faithful and follow God’s food restrictions.
Hebrews 11:6 – God rewards Daniel – 10x wiser than the wisest of Neb’s men.
God is introducing His people to Neb. They entered into the king’s personal service.
God’s love is revealed through His people – Acts 4:13
Daniel 2: Neb’s Kingdom – his dream of the statue – they pray God gives the dream and it’s interpretation. This sort of reflects Mark 2:1-12; healing the paralytic God’s joy is our asking Him for help – God freely gives – ask, seek, knock, Daniel 2:47; Dan – chief prefect, they administrators
Dan.3: Neb’s Religion – the king’s golden image 9x9x90 – bow when you hear the music. Daniel 3:16-18,25; 29; Neb still not understanding. Like Pharaoh with 10 plagues
Three great lessons from God – catch his attention, show helplessness, bring to knees. God is patient but there needs to be a lesson to crush him, like death of first born. Take away his kingdom! Matthew 23:12; Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled.
Daniel 4: Neb’s Pride – Nebuchadnezzar – height, defend the boundary – God’s patience. Dream of the tree – Proverbs 16:18-20; To show his humility Neb writes the chapter himself. The king is making a public confession of his sinful pride. God finally got through!

Daniel 1 Neb’s University – tree of life, Christ, empowers to control tree of knowledge of good/evil 1 Corinthians 1:26-29; speak up, you’re wiser than you think and your message is a priority Daniel 2 Neb’s Kingdom – Jesus taught the kingdom is at hand, Paul taught the kingdom is here. You belong to the eternal kingdom, a citizen of heaven – Daniel 4:26, ambassadors 2 Corinthians 5:20Daniel 3 Neb’s Religion – No other gods before Me. #1 com. Do not compromise! God will deliver, He is always with you, fear not man but fear God if you disobey and lead others astray. They were willing to die for their conviction – Matthew 16:24-26
Daniel 4 Neb. Was pictured as a great, fruitful tree, but he gave no glory nor thanks to God, proudful. What does your tree look like or what does your life look like? Mark 4:30f; Galatians 5:22; Matthew 7:17-20; Remember John 15:5
