John 1
Sin – unrighteousness - unjust, doing wrong, not punishing, not doing right. vs.19, 26, (Ro.1:29-31)
Solution – surrender – vs. 43 Follow Me – John’s disciples to Jesus’ disciples
Reward – answered prayer – vs.51; Heb.1:14;
Paradigm shift – vs.14 word became flesh
Water – vs.31-34, baptism
OT + NT = Faith vs.45,46 we have found
Names – John - Jehovah hath been gracious vs.1-18 & Moses - drawn forth; taken out of the water; a son vs.19-51
John 2
Sin – wickedness, taking advantage of your authority, vs.16
Solution – submit, Jesus uses His authority to glorify God. vs.1-12 water to wine
Reward – empowered to change water to wine, Jn.14:12
Paradigm Shift – vs.19 destroy this temple
Water – vs. 7 fill the 6 stone water pots.
OT + NT = Faith vs.22 believed the scripture and the word Jesus spoke
Names – Jesus - Jehovah is salvation Jn 2:1-12 & Elijah - God is Jehovah; God Himself Jn 2:13-25;
John 3
Sin – greed, desiring more than one needs, no letting go of what one has, vs.2
Solution – serve, vs.30 He must increase, I must decrease, said John.
Reward – vs.16 eternal life
Paradigm Shift – vs.4,9, how can these things be?
Water – vs.5 water and the Spirit.
OT + NT = Faith vs.21 Jn.17:17; Jn.1:17;
Names - Isaiah - Jehovah is helper; salvation is of the Lord Jn 3:1-21 & Israel - he who wrestles with God,, Jn 3:22-36;
John 4
Sin – evil, ill-will, desire to injure, morally bad, vs.9, 27,
Solution – insightful, vs.23,24; worship in spirit and in truth.
Reward – vs.13,14; living water
Paradigm Shift – vs.31,32; food to eat you do not know about.
Water – water to living water
OT + NT = Faith vs.37,38;
Names – Andrew – manliness, Jn.4:1-30 & Simon – hearing Jn.4:31-54;
John 5
Sin – envy, the feeling of displeasure produced by witnessing or hearing of the advantage or prosperity of others, vs.
Solution – inspired – vs.6,8, do you wish to get well.
Reward – vs.24 has eternal life
Paradigm Shift – vs.25 the dead will hear his voice
Water – pool of Bethesda, (house of mercy) few verses all
OT + NT = Faith vs.24, 46-47;

Reward – vs.37-39; rivers of living water from within,
Paradigm Shift – vs.33-34, seek Me and not find Me.
Water – vs.38, living water
