Physical seems to push people away from God – danger of idolatry.
How blessed are we? Christ, New Covenant – Spiritual not Physical
Hebrews 12:18,22-24; But do we appreciate our blessings?

5:7-9 not available to Christ; 8:8,10; 10:19-20 our rest – 12:18f throne room
Jesus eludes to this rest in John 4:21-24 in spirit and truth John 17:17; not physical Mt. Zion
In spirit – Romans 8:9-11 via Acts 2:37-38; Romans 6:3-7; Colossians 1:13; See tabernacle laver
John 10:7-9 Jesus says we come and go – two things we do – worship and serve God Matthew 4:10
Serve is LATREUW – to serve as a hired servant. John 13:34; Matthew 25; Matthew 5:44; Ephesians 2:10
Worship – PROSKUNEW – bow before, Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9,17; John 4:23; Revelation 5:11-14
To worship we spiritually enter the throne room to bow before the Father and the Son
How do we enter the throne room after initially being baptized? Col.3:17; Prayer is the vehicle
Again Jesus eludes to this in John 1:51; see Revelation 2:1; John 14:3-6
Why was Hebrews written – to encourage brethren to rise up and walk by faith not by sight.
To no longer question Are We Blessed? but to realize with full assurance WE ARE BLESSED!
