Verse 10
Thy kingdom come, reminds us of our purpose – Luke 19:10; John 9:39-41
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Psalm 148:1f; 67:1f; Revelation 4:8f; praise God!
Praise – HALAL –to be boastful Matthew 10:32-33; Hebrews 13:15; Revelation 19:5
Verse 11
Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:25-26; 32-34; Mark 11:24; Surrender – Hebrews 3:7,11; 4:1-3a; Hebrews 4:9-13; Ephesians 6:5-9
Trust in God, give yourself a break.
Verse 12
And forgive us our debts, as we FORGAVE our debtors. Matthew 6:14,15; Matthew 18:15-20; 2 or more - 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 19:15; our Mediator
Verse 13
And lead us not into temptation, Mark 11:24-25; James 1:13-15; Take ownership of sin but deliver us from evil: PONAROS – toil, toilsome, wicked, worthless, wasting time.
John 15:5; Ephesians 5:15-16
Rescue us – 1 Corinthians 10:13
James 2:17- Our Father – strive for unity – Sanctify His Name – defend His name, opportunity for praise
Thy kingdom come – study with self and others
Thy will be done – praise God, boast in God
Give us this day – surrender to His rest, forgive others as you do your children and friends.
Take ownership of your sin and get rid of it by following the leading of the Holy Spirit with God’s word.
