No sacrifice has ever been able to remit sin except for that of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is His blood, as the perfect Lamb of God, that has the power to overcome our sins. As He took on the sins of the world, He gave us the opportunity to follow His plan for salvation and live with Him for eternity.
