Desire is one of the most important forces in the life of a believer, and it must be directed toward the presence of God above all else. The psalmist reveals that the greatest longing is to dwell in the house of the Lord and to behold His beauty. When desire is set on Him, there is confidence, peace, and true satisfaction found in His presence.
