I associate three things with summer in this neck of the woods: the ability to scramble around in the mountains without the aid of a helicopter or snow machine; the Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival....
... and gardens.
On that note, I joined three green-thumbed Kaslovians (Anne Heard, Sabrina Edwards, and Patrick Steiner), for a tour around Kaslo's lovely community garden. We talked about how it came about, who can use it, and how it works. We also chatted about the upcoming (July 14) Kaslo Edible Garden Tour, which sounds pretty awesome.
Listen in, wherever in the world you happen to be, and enjoy a little hit of small-town summer — a welcome break from politics and true crime, right?!
