Psychoanalyst Astuko Chiba and her alter Ego Paprika have been using an experimental device called the DC mini to dive into her patients' dreams to help them unpack whatever their subconsciousness is attempting to work out in their Recurring dreams. However, her world is thrown into chaos when the DC mini is stolen during the final phases of testing and people start acting really strange. Paprika must team up with some unlikely characters to solve this mystery and stop the world of dreams from colliding with reality. It’s kinda like a japanese Existenze, but most people compare it to Inception.
