Description

Habits formed through trauma are not random. They are learned protection patterns. The brain’s alarm system, called the amygdala, tags certain experiences as threats. After trauma, it becomes hypersensitive. The body wants relief from stored stress. Without healthy regulation, it will find unhealthy outlets. First Corinthians 6:12 says, “I will not be mastered by anything.” Trauma-driven coping can quietly become a master.
