Key Text: Gen. 49:4
4 Turbulent as the waters, you will no longer excel,
for you went up onto your father’s bed,
onto my couch and defiled it.”
Biblical Application: Reuben's instability cost him his birthright. This teaches us that leadership requires steadfastness and self-control. James 1:8 warns that a double-minded person is unstable in all their ways.
Call to Action: Could you look over areas where inconsistency hinders your leadership? Commit to developing discipline through prayer and accountability.
