In this study we look at the amazing event that took place at the tower of Babel. Only 5 generations past the flood and mankind was in open rebellion and defiance toward God. Rather than multiplying and filling the whole earth, they gathered together in the land of Shinar.
There they sought to build a tower that would be the gateway to the gods. It was here that they thought they could become like God. Their pride and arrogance allowed them to be deceived into believing this original lie from Satan.
When the sin, iniquity and transgression of man rises up, the judgment of God comes down. It was here at Babel that God confused the language and scattered mankind over the face of all the earth. God overruled the rebellious heart of man.
