Once again, we see Abram faced with another test of his faith. Abram experiences a tremendous amount victory. It is in the victory that he is tested. As it has been said, faith that has been tested is a faith that can be trusted.
What Abram discovers is that there is far more danger and temptation after the victory than before. It is our response in victory that reveals the depth of our relationship with Jesus.
Abram learned that through the spoils of this world, Satan obtains many souls. Abram refused the spoils ensuring that only God would get the glory in this great victory.
