In this study we see the consequences of sin. Eve was deceived, Adam transgressed; transgression will always follow deception. It can never be stated too strongly to be on guard against all deception. Why? A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

Now in all of this, Adam and Eve made the choice to disobey God's command. Therefore, they were responsible for the consequences.

While their sin was great, God's grace is greater. In this passage we see the gospel presented to us twice. We have a wonderful prophesy concerning the virgin birth of Christ and His ultimate victory over Satan. We also see how on the blood of Christ can take away our sin.
