In this study we see the great failure of Noah. How sad to see the corruption of the best. Noah was just coming off a tremendous victory. The conditions that he was living in were good. Just a reminder that the most legitimate of situations may become the great occasion for temptation.
For us, it is a reminder, we must stay on guard at all times. Satan is ever on the prowl seeking who he may devour.
We also see how from the three sons of Noah, the entire world would become populated. All the nations of the world come from one human family. We are all one blood. It is God who sets the times and boundaries for all nations. God is the God of every nation, and He is in control.
