Worship that is filled with hypocrisy has become all too common within the church today. Hypocrisy is quite easy to identify and yet at the same time it is far too easy to be blinded by our pride, becoming the hypocrite ourselves.
God looks at our hearts as we come before Him in worship. Is our worship sincere before God? Are we truly worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth? God certainly sees. He certainly knows.
False worship will always be revealed by how we treat one another in the body of Christ. We must stop placing one another under bonds, oppression, burdens and yokes. We must start extending our souls to one another. We must minister to the needs of one another, building each other up in the Lordship of Jesus.
Obedience to Jesus Christ and His word is everything. Obedience is the pathway to true blessing from God. As God showers us with His blessings, we must in turn bless one another.
