Obadiah is a short book that is filled with great lessons.
In it we will see the danger of pride, arrogance and a sense of superiority. Pride gives false hope to those who try to find their security it.
We will also see the importance of showing mercy to our neighbors and our family in times of great distress. We must always respond to our neighbors, family, siblings the way Jesus would.
Finally, we will see how Israel still belongs to God. And that God will ultimately restore Israel.
